Abstract
Summary
This paper presents results from a multi-client interpretation of broadband gravity, measured by FTG, from the Southeast Barents Sea. The study focusses on the use of broadband gravity for regional structural interpretation and as a tool for understanding salt morphology. Through integration of broadband gravity and seismic data, new insights in to the tectonic evolution of the Southeast Barents Sea can be gained.
Specifically, the relationship between the architecture and development of potentially hydrocarbon-bearing rift basins (e.g. the Nordkapp and Tiddlybanken basins) and the basement structural grain is explored.
