Abstract
In the conventional deconvolution techniques, the reflection coefficients were assumed random white noise and the wavelet was unique. In order to get rid of the limitation, we proposed a new method which was called time-frequency domain Spectral Modeling Deconvolution (SMD). By using the generalized S-transform, the seismic data was transformed to time-frequency domain, the spectral of wavelet which was changed with time and frequency was simulated with the method of spectral modeling. The purpose of our process was to enhance the resolution of seismic data, thus, the spectral of wavelets should be eliminated, the remaining were spectral of reflection coefficients, after perform inverse S-transform, the time domain seismic data were obtained again with a more balanced spectrum and broader frequency band.
