Influence of water content in sand on GPR data

With Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), the objects buried near the subsurface may be determined with great accuracy. In urban areas, its use is sometimes inefficient because of the complicated and mixed signals it records. In geological purposes, it is limited by the penetration depth depending on geology and water saturation of the subsoil.
