Abstract
The Engineering Geophysical Penetration Sounding (EGPS) method is widely used in Hungary for exploration loose sediments. Determination of the quality (reliability and/or accuracy) of their data acquisition and their inversion is not only an important part of the geophysical methodology, but recently it is strict requirement for the qualification of the geophysical activity too.
