Abstract
The results of application of mobile geophysical method for the gas accumulation searching in shale are analyzed. It is shown that "Poisk" technology allow to detect and delineate the gas accumulations in shale formations, to determinate number of gas-bearing horizons, their thickness, depth of bedding and pressure of the gas in them and to trace the migration routes of gas in shale. Anomalies of the "gas accumulation" type, which are mapped by "Poisk" technology and a special method of remote sensing data processing and interpreting, occupy a small area of the territories of the works. This indicates that mobile technologies allow to identify and map operatively the "Sweet Spots" areas, within which the economically acceptable production of shale gas can be organized. The results of investigation show that the "Poisk" technology and a special method of remote sensing data processing and interpretation can be used for the gas accumulations exploration and prospecting within the shale rocks. The application of these geophysical methods can promote for increasing the efficiency of existing technology of the shale gas prospecting end exploration.
