How Iron Compounds Affect Physical Properties of Rocks: Core Data and Log Analysis(Case Study of Jurassic Tomsk Field)

The authors use core data analysis to confirm the presence of a significant number of iron minerals in Jurassic rocks and to examine their impact on the log data and reservoir properties of rocks. Suggestions are made on required minimum set of logging techniques and algorithms for interpretation.
