Abstract
The method is based on finding the best match time / depth variables set of seismic traces and following combination of these partial solutions into a common model of continuous seismostratigraphic attribute. Seismostratigraphic continuous model is a real function defined on the seismic section, part it or cube which corresponds with stratigraphic position of objects. It allows generate any number of separated seismic horizons; to construct an accurate model of spatial parameters distribution, perform paleostructural reconstruction. The seismic results may be included in the process of building well correlation models. The algorithm used is the construction of this function is based on methods developed for automated correlation of well sections. Seismic traces are regarded as analogues of well sections.
