Интернет-ориентированная информационная система предоставления цифровых геологических материалов с использованием современных технологий передачи данных

One of the serious problems of getting complete information about geological structure is the abscence of internet access to the large quantity of geological information resources, situated in different organisations, such as Vsegei, Rosgeolfond, etc. Internet access to the heterogeneous spatially-distributed data through the common web-server and special geological-oriented web-services is the technology, which could help to solve the problem. It gives new possibility of getting complex geological data, using modern international data-transfer protocols, like WFS, WMS. And also, the possibility of integration Russian geological information resources into the International scientific geological networks, to have more wide sight on the geological structure of the world.
