Abstract

The research describes the issues of geoinformation systems effectiveness for solving practical problems in finding hydrocarbon deposits. The research offers the ways to improve the efficiency of geoinformation technologies in the oil and gas industry through integration of geospatial data and using service-oriented architecture of geographic information systems
