Abstract

Reservoir modelling both static and dynamic has advanced drastically with the advancement in computing and visualization technologies. However, the accuracy and the effectiveness of reservoir modelling rely on a number of factors that goes into the modelling processes and the data that is used to construct those models. The idea that a model will be solid representation of the reservoir in question has to be qualified carefully and the notion that one can build a perfect model has to be questioned. In my presentation I will touch on some of the factors that impact model results and show actual examples.
