Integrated Containment Analysis - Wiki-accessible Workflows and Tools for Exploration Top and Fault Seal Analysis

A seal analysis knowledge-base, accessible on the ConocoPhillips Wiki, was created to codify ConocoPhillips' knowledge of fault and top seal analysis practices in a form that has longevity, can be easily updated and that can be easily accessed by exploration geoscientists. The purpose of the knowledge-base,when combined with classroom and field training, is to help sustain in the exploration community a reasonable and realistic level of self-sufficiency with fault and top seal analysis. With the creation of the knowledge-base, ConocoPhillips has established a corporate "best practice" for seal analysis that includes this knowledge-base, a group of centralized experts, a network of distributed practitioners, globally-available vendor-provided analysis tools, and a portfolio of classroom and field training resources.
