Abstract

Issues of management of integrated reservoir rocks studies are considered based on practical activity of Core and Formation Fluids Research Center in the city of Kogalym. Goals set and future considerations are as follows: • Petrophysical investigation of full-size cores that enables to study reservoirs rocks with complex pore structure; • Selection and study of oriented core to investigate heterogeneity of the reservoir properties; • Implementation of novel methods of reservoir rocks study based on nanotechnology; • Implementation and wide usage of electronic databases of core and formation fluids study results; • Necessity for revision and development of specialized training programs for students of universities and colleges.
