Abstract

Additional stress and deformation fields are occurred in the borehole environment during drilling. This process has as consequence porosity and permeability variations and change of mud filtration. Authors developed software for joint modeling of geomechanical and hydrodynamic processes around drilling and VIKIZ (induction log) and BKZ (Russian lateral log) log simulation. Impact of geomechanical parameters on distribution of water saturation, salt concentration, resistivity and logs of VIKIZ and BKZ was studied
