Results of 3D modelling which one illustrate principal opportunities of a differential- normalized method of electrical prospecting (DNME) on forecasting reservoirs of hydrocarbons in not anticlinal traps in conditions a high conductive medium, characteristic for one of the areas of Caspian sea are demonstrated. As a basis for constructing physical-geological model were used a geological section constructed according to seismic survey, electric logging and the data received as a result 1D of inversion of field curves DU, Ps, P1 and Dφ. The opportunity of recovery of referent model simulating presence in a section of HC reservoir, in arguments of model Cole-Cole was investigated at conducting 1D inversion. The received results testify to high selfdescriptiveness of polarizing arguments used in IP methods at conducting of search works on oil and gas.
