Abstract
The ultimate goal of the Play Fairway Analysis is to generate a Composite Common Risk Segment map (CCRS) that illustrates the variable risk areas within each part play for the Wilcox Formation in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. This is done by multiplying individual Common Risk Segment (CRS) grids for each of the risk elements of the petroleum system (reservoir presence, reservoir quality, top seal, and source rock maturity).
