Geodynamical Studies Around Active Areas in Egypt

National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) has started a program of monitoring recent crustal movements using geodetic networks since 1983. This program includes establishment and measurements of geodetic networks using Terrestrial technique and from 1994 GPS technique in Aswan, Gulf of Suez, Greater Cairo, South Valley and Sinai regions as shown in Fig. 1.
