oa Thermo-hydraulic Modeling of the Permo-carboniferous in the Upper Rhine Valley

The Permo-Carboniferous in the Upper Rhine Valley is a potential geothermal reservoir. A 3D-model based on seismic, wells and outcrop analogues builds the framework. Building up on this model the spatial thermal development of the area is simulated for reducing risk in the development of deep geothermal energy projects. Results comprise a very good usability of these formations.
