Abstract
New instruments and technologies for foot, mobile and controlled source modifications of the RMT method are described. Their applications ensure a wide range of depths study on the base of investigations in wide frequency band (10-1000 kHz for the foot and mobile modifications and 1-1000 kHz for the controlled source one). The use of the well developed magnetotelluric inversion methods and software tools permits obtaining the reliable interpretation results. RMT surveys are realized at bad grounding conditions in summer time (asphalt, concrete, gravel) and in winter time (frozen soils, snow and ice) using ungrounded (capacitive) electric antennae.
