Abstract
The PNN method was run as continuous monitoring under various conditions with different tasks like pollution control for organic and inorganic compounds. For many elements are established regressions for quantitative estimations. It does not matter under which conditions the PNN is performed, along the individual approach of the decay curve disturbing factors can be deleted and therefore always a representative result may be achieved. The PNN method is still undiscovered for a wide application to environmental problems. Technological adaptations may allow an continuous monitoring and even a neutron tomography on the whole polluting path water-soil-air.
