Abstract

An entry of magmatic melt to the distinct area of Earth’s crust containing gas deposits can cause significant local warming of it. The temperature increase of a gas deposit located constantly at a determined depth, leads to the increase in pressure due to gas expansion and increasing saturation by water vapors. The degree of pressure increase in the modeled methane gas deposit is appreciated in this work for temperature range from 120 to 360 oC
