Проведение геофизических исследований на территории Семикаракорского городища

We carried out complex geophysical investigations on the terrain of Semikarakorsk site. The main objective of geophysical survey was to investigate cultural layer, to found out and to describe anomalies with anthropogenic origin. These anomalies helped to specify structure of the site. Some of geophysical investigations was methodical - there were measurements on objects with archaeological excavation for following comparison of archeological and geophysical results, and then we used these knowledge for archeological substantiation of other geophysical anomalies. Complex of geophysical investigations included magnetic and electrical survey. Some important results about the site structure were obtained.
