This paper describes the experience of landslide road sections surveying by Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) method. Theoretical justification of landslide soil deformations prediction based on the interpretation of amplitude-frequency characteristics of reflected signal of GPR in three specific zones is given. GPR surveying methodology, as well as received field, processed and interpreted radaragrams are reviewed. The article confirms working hypothesis based on the results of a subgrade slopes survey on the M-5 «Ural» Highway section.
