Abstract
This paper will address these problems and show that by simulating the existing seismic data using synthetic differenced forward modelling, and then comparing the result with field data, improvements can be made in the seismic image of time-lapse data. The results of this work may impact on other areas not associated with CO2 sequestration, such as imaging oil production over areas where producing fields suffer from having a karst topography, such as in the Middle East and Australia.
