A new micro-seismic detection method is presented. It uses the redundancy offered by large horizontal arrays of geophones to automatically detect micro-seismic events without any time picking and this, even in poor signal-to-noise ratio conditions. The various performances of this method (precision versus computational time, signal-to-noise ratio, source grid parameters,) will be discussed and compared with those of the full semblance method on numerical signals. Results obtained using a real data set will be shown.
