Abstract
3D modeling is carried out to give more precise geoelectrical structure of complex mountain ranges that are located in various geological conditions including regions proned to influence of geodynamic processes – natural and man-caused. 3D modeling was carried out using two programs – 3DDCXH (created by Klause Spitzer) and program EMF_DC3Dmod developed jointly by electromagnetic field laboratory IPGG SB RAS and ICMMG SB RAS as applied to direct current. Advantages of EMF_DC3Dmod that allows to receive more precise geoelectrical parameters of cross-section are shown. This program successfully tested on theoretical models as well as on complex field material from Baikal rift zone tectonic basins. The results of 3D modeling are demanded for many problems.
