Abstract
Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO) is being constructed in the extreme environmental conditions, being the most extended oil pipeline system in the Russian Federation. Within the pipeline rout we observe a great variety of cryogenic processes and phenomena of which the most widely spread are naleds, frost mounds, thermokarst and polygonal formations. Authors have made for the first time permafrost map on an oil pipeline in scale 1:200 000
