Abstract

Zero-phasing as a part of wavelet processing arises on a joint of processing and interpretation of seismic data and is of great importance for AVO and seismic inversion. Increase of complexity of data processing and complication of the problems that interpretation faces, have resulted in a formulation of new requirements to the quality of seismic data. One of such requirements is an obligatory carrying out of all seismic interpretation workflows with zero-phased seismic data. In this work we present methodology of zero-phasing transformation and also the analysis of obtained results. A dataset from onshore W.Siberia is discussed.
