Abstract
Example of 2.5D modeling for anisotropic medium is presented. The calculation scheme is using central finite-difference technique of second order of precision for all variables on three staggered grids. Example of modeling for HTI anisotropic medium is shown. Quasi-compressional qP, as well as quick qS1 and slow qS2 quasi-shear waves have been modeled. Calculation time for 2.5D modeling technique is considerably smaller than in case of 3D modeling for similar medium.
