The un-patented “Slip-Sweep” technique of vibroseis data acquisition was developed by<br>Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO), in cooperation with the instrument manufacturer<br>Sercel and several seismic contractors working with PDO in the mid to late 1990’s.
