Abstract
We study the effects of fluids saturated HTI medium on elastic properties and seismic measurements and the possibility of discriminating oil-water saturations with them though numerical modeling. The results based on rock physics modelling demonstrate Thomsen anisotropy parameters and the seismic measurements for P- and PS-wave data are sensitive to fluid viscosity and can be used to monitor fluid substitutions in producing reservoirs.
