Abstract
The quality control (QC) of seismic data processing can be time consuming and therefore adds a significant contribution to the turn around time of the project. A streamlined approach to the QC workflow is presented where the time taken is significantly reduced by intelligent use of attribute information. An increased variety of attributes are generated, analyzed and visualized to make it possible to find problems (either acquisition or geophysical related) in an easy and efficient manner. It is shown that the new workflow is capable of finding the same problems as the conventional workflow and in addition provides a better understanding of the data in both the acquisition and geophysical sense.
