Influence of the Initial Model on the Seismic Inversion Result

Main Dolomite is one of the most perspective level in the Polish Lowlands. It is characterized by high variability of petrophysical properties, which causes difficulties in interpretation. Seismic data can be used for the spatial distribution of reservoir parameters. While the model based inversion is one of the tools for the appointment of such a decomposition. However, it requires well-defined wavelet and properly constructed initially model. The subject of the analysis was to check the reliability of inversion results assuming different starting model.
