Abstract

In this paper the programming modules for visualization of 3D seismic data recorded in the form of SEG Y file format is briefly described. Software for visualization of 3D seismic data is proposed for PC use. It is designed to visualize seismograms, to scan and correct information stored in tags. If the source file represents seismic cube, available are procedures for its scanning and also visualization of its slices by specified planes. Development of programming modules and their testing were carried out by using test examples and sets of raw seismic data in different versions of SEG Y format. Seismic cubes obtained in the course of work related to the prediction of tectonic structure of rock mass at the area of Zapadno-Donbasskaya Mine belonging to the public limited company Pavlogradugol and also seismic survey data are used.
