Abstract
Well logging data characterises with high vertical resolution in comparison to seismic data. Analyse of the seismic and well logging data was carried out from several wells located on Polish Lowland. Transit Time Integrated (TTI) and Check Shot data allows to divide the data into sections which differ from petrophysical parameters. Detailed focuse on the one section proceed in seismic wave velocity calculation using quality factor Q and acoustic wave velocity. Dispersion casues the difference between the seismic and acoustic velocities. As a result acoustic wave velocity is higher than seismic wave velocity. Great influence on seismic wave velocities have correct frequency choice.
