Enhancing Geophysical Data Analysis with Open-source Software

We demonstrate the software solutions that have enabled geoscientists, without previous software development experience, to experiment with their ideas and develop promising ideas into software solutions. This has involved the use and integration of several pieces of open-source software which together provide a solution to enhance geophysical data analysis whilst providing flexibility to be able to collaborate with third parties. We use software from a wider range of disciplines than just geosciences to take advantage of advances in other disciplines.
