Abstract
The main problem addressed in this study is the lack of infrastructure of field “N”, and the inability to dispose of the entire volume of associated gas that will be extracted from the field in the coming years. The solution must meet the following criteria: 1) The solution should be implemented within 6 months. 2) The method must be as cost-effective. 3) The solution should allow to recycle the maximum volume of associated gas, to reduce the harmful effects on the environment. The classification of the main methods of utilization of associated petroleum gas was build. The best way was recognized method of selling gas with transportation by pipeline. All options for the sale of associated gas were studied. The most cost-effective option is simultaneous sale of associated gas to the Gazprom gas processing plant, Vyngapur gas processing plant and to the Vyngayahskaya compressor station, using existing compressor with a capacity of 170 MMsm3/year and one new compressor with a capacity of 500 MMsm3/year. This option had the highest net present value and index rate of return.
