Abstract

Summary

The analytic signal method is a kind of method that estimates Q in the time domain. It can distinguish natural attenuation and non-natural attenuation. The method has the problem of big local error and low anti-interference. To solve the problem, the method is below: seismic wavelet amplitude spectrum is doing exponent by M, then transform back into time domain. Using M equation to inverse Q based on the seismic signal. After the model testing, when the M is greater than 1, the method can decrease error and instability. When there is weak noise, the robustness of the method is higher than conventional analytic signal method.
