Abstract

Summary

There is substantial value in increasing the recovery factor in shale reservoir development. The recovery factor is currently 6%. We can do so by optimizing hydraulic fracturing operations through time-lapse, multi-component seismic monitoring and coupling it with geomechanical modeling.
