Abstract

Summary

It is the principle goal to generate synthetic seismogram containing accurate information of Rayleigh wave in any near surface simulation. Actual earth medium is closer to viscoelastic medium, in which seismic wave propagate with dispersion and attenuation. In addition, Real space is three-dimensional. 3D simulation is more real and more accurate. This paper models 3D Rayleigh wave in half-space viscoelastic media by using MPI/OpenMP joint parallel strategy. Two numerical experiments are tested and compared. The method introduced here can be proved accurate and effective.
