f Insights from applying Machine Learning techniques to Geosciences data from the Oil and Gas industry

Arundo is a USA and Norwegian based data science services and software solutions company applying machine learning techniques across a wide range of heavy-asset industries. Our data scientists typically come from academic backgrounds where machine learning is regularly utilized such as particle physics. We have recently been working with partner organizations from the Oil & Gas industry, applying our data science expertise to geoscience data, including seismic, from operating fields. We will summarize our experience of using machine learning with such data and how our wider experience of those techniques has been utilized for geoscience use cases. We expect to be able to present results of analyses we have worked on with our partner organizations for the first time. Finally, we will discuss how subsurface geoscience data and machine learning can be used to optimize maintenance and operations in the oil and gas industry.
