Abstract

Summary

The analysis with polynomial trends surface is a filtering method that helps to recognize, isolate and measure trends, by separating large variations from local variation trends. This separation is accomplished by adjusting the trend function to different values. We calculated the rezidual Bouguer anomaly after removed the trend plan and than the trend surfaces of degree 6, from data WGM2012 (from Bureau Gravimétrique International). Keywords: trend surfaces, the smallest squares method, gravity
