Abstract
Rock-forming importance of Coniconchia for the Paleozoic oil-bearing rocks from the Perm region, which are represented by the Domanic of the Frasnian stage and the Infradomanic of the Eifelian stage, was studied. The Domanic was studied on the basis of macroscopic study of the core from the Andreevskoye oil-and-gas field (the Perm region), microscopic study of thin sections and data on porosity, permeability, and carbonate content of sediments. Coniferous Infradomanic deposits are quite locally distributed in the Perm region.
Rock-forming role of the deposits is identified according to the literature data. The work enables to expand understanding about dependence of rock properties on conditions of their formation and to identify the most promising areas for hydrocarbons production.
