Abstract

Summary

The high quality of state-of-the-art electromagnetic soundings data and the integrated approach to interpretation (taking into account a seismic data) make possible a detailed investigation of the sedimentary cover. When increasing the number of layers in model, the uncertainty of the inversion results inevitably increases. Assessment of the TEM inversion reliability has to be done. In this paper the applicability of mathematical approaches to the analysis of the TEM inversion result is considered.
