Abstract
In the Kama-Kinel Troughs System (KKTS) there are many oil fields. Discovery of big groop of Upper Frasnian oil saturated isolated basinal reefs around the Orenburg Oblast’s south, as far as 180–200 km from the Mukhanovo-Erokhov Trough, contrdicts the view point, that oil fields, which controlled by Upper Devonian reefs, were connected with the KKTS predominantly. Joint analysis of paleogeographic data and plate tectonic reconstructions of Ural have revealed that relative sea level rising, which induced vast transgression upon the continent, was synchronous to beginning of the Ural Ocean’s closing. At the Middle Frasnian deep water Domanic paleobasin covered the continental edge as a result of sea level rising continuation. At the Upper Frasnian the deep water sea was continuing to cover the continental edge, when collision of the Mugojar microcontinent and the Magnitigor volcanic arc had induced the Earlier Hercynian tectogenesis around the continent. Shallow water carbonate platforms were formed on tectonic high slopes and grown basinward to reduce deep water paleobasin. At the Famenian it became to look like present day KKTS. The Upper Frasnian deep water paleobasin was covering Volga-Ural Province is perspective for isolated basinsl reef exploration, including areas are situated far outside the KKTS. Regional consedimental tectonic highs are mostly perspective for reef oil fields exploration inside the deep water paleobasin.
