Abstract
Based on the new seismic materials CDP-2D in complex with other geological-geophysical data has substantially clarified the model of the structure of 4-sedimentary basins developed on Gydane and Taimyr: the Jurassic-Cretaceous sediments of the North-East of Western Siberia, the Mesozoic and Paleozoic complexes of the Khatanga-Vilyuy basin in the Northern framing of the Siberian platform of Paleozoic (Riphean - Paleozoic-?) deposits of the North Tunguska basin in the North of the Siberian craton, South Taimyr sedimentation basin of the foothill (forland) type on Mountain Taimyr. It is shown that for Gydane and Taimyr vast areas of potential oil and gas accumulation presents understudied nadpochechnymi ridges of great length (up to 1000–1800 km). Large shafts and lifts are installed in all sedimentary basins of the Central Arctic region. In the depressive parts of the sedimentary cover and the areas of sedimentation on the sides of basins, large zones of development of complex traps of various types in Mesozoic and Paleozoic deposits are predicted, with which large accumulations can also be associated. New directions of oil and gas exploration work are indicated.
