Abstract
The work is devoted to the problem of choosing the mode of acoustic influence for increasing the efficiency of oil production. The temperature dependence of the viscosity of oil before and after its ultrasonic treatment was measured by rotational and vibrational viscosimetry. The oil under investigation belongs to the class of heavy oil with a viscosity of 2.7 Pa•s at a temperature of 20 C. The oil samples were processed by an ultrasonic device at a frequency of 22 kHz with an oscillation intensity of 10 W/cm^2. The results of experimental studies indicate the effect of ultrasound on the change in the viscosity of oil. Moreover, these changes depend on the processing time. At relatively low action times oil viscosity is reduced on average by 19%, while at low temperatures the viscosity reduction is significantly higher. An increase in the time of ultrasonic treatment leads to a negative result - the viscosity of the oil rises. In addition, repeated measurements of sonicated oil after a long time indicate that the viscosity of the oil becomes even greater. A mechanism is proposed that explains the experimental data obtained.
