Abstract

Summary

Shale oil and gas rocks are usually of complex structure, and are very different from traditional reservoirs. For reliable study of these rocks, special approaches are required. For example, reliable determination of permeability is a significant problem in the study of shale rocks. The article describes a study of the permeability of rocks of the Bazhenovskaya formation. The measurements were carried out in two ways: by Pulse Decay method and by a pseudo-stady-state method. As a result of measurements by both methods similar results were obtained. According to the results of the work, it is concluded that it is necessary to develop a regulatory and methodological framework for measuring the permeability of shale deposits to ensure the unity of measurements.
