Abstract

Summary

Based on the analysis of seismic data, the main types of anticlinal structures present in the sedimentary cover of the West Siberian oil and gas basin are established. Using the opticalpolarization and tectono-sedimentation methods, the modeling of the process of their formation was carried out. The mechanism of formation of zones of subsidence or decompression of sediments above growing elevations of various shapes is explained, the most likely areas of secondary tectonogenic fracturing in competent formations, including silicon-carbonate deposits of the Bazhen-Abalak complex, are identified
