Abstract

Summary

The paper presents the results of NMR studies of 10 heavy oil samples and its fractions from the fields of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area at the temperature of 20, 40 and 60˚С. The group composition of the samples has been experimentally determined by NMR data, which is consistent with the geochemical analysis data. The change of relaxation characteristics with increasing temperature is shown. Also we have established the dependence of the transverse relaxation time on the content of resinous-asphalting compounds at different temperature.
