Abstract

Summary

Many corporates, educational institutions, professional service providers and governments who are struggling to fill job vacancies cast a wary eye toward the future. The existing mismatch between employee skills and employer needs threatens to become wider as work, the worker and the workplace transform. Technology has made the economy flourish, but if we do not prepare the workforce for the digital future by skilling, re- & upskilling them, the repercussions could grave. This paper discusses these statements on full in the context of societal changes in the future.
